The (Automated) Critical Infrastructure Monitoring System is designed to detect and assess risks and damages affecting critical assets using satellite and Earth Observation (EO) data. By integrating optical and radar data, the system prioritizes optical imaging in its initial phases to provide accurate, real-time insights.

The system is primarily used for:

• Hostilities and post-war area monitoring

• Disaster monitoring

• Rapid response and recovery

• Post-disaster reconstruction

• Infrastructure damage assessment

The Critical Infrastructure Monitoring System is designed for global application. Current and completed projects cover regions including Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America.

The system integrates both optical and radar satellite data, supplemented by drone data where necessary. Depending on the application, data may have high, medium, or low spatial resolution, with a primary focus on delivering high-fidelity results tailored to user needs.

The frequency of satellite image acquisition depends on the specific application and customer requirements. Data collection can occur quarterly, monthly, biweekly, weekly, or even daily, subject to factors such as weather conditions, satellite availability, and operational constraints. The optimal time resolution is determined in collaboration with the customer to ensure the best results.

Yes, archived satellite data is available for different satellites. The coverage period varies:

• High-resolution data: Since 2021 for some satellites, and 2016 for others

• Medium-resolution data: Available from 2012, 2000, and in some cases, as early as 1990 for specific regions

Monitoring results are provided in two formats:

• Regular monitoring reports (PDF format)

• An regulary updated customer account in our webGIS platform, which includes: List of Areas of Interest (AOIs); Detailed base maps; Event detection reports; Satellite imagery with descriptions, analytics, and statistical data; Options for feedback and notes; Downloadable monitoring reports and related data.
